This is my ranger Gin

Just your average park ranger, keeping talking bears from jacking your picnic baskets. preventing forest fires, and killing people for littering. ^__^

Oh wow, so many nice characters. I may just have to do more than two... I really love seeing how people portray their own characters, and what backstories/personalities they have come up with!

I'll get to drawing later today, and will also post who I've picked then.

Yeah, that's the main reason why Arenanet is focusing GW2 alot on Personal Storylines.

Good luck on the drawings! Can't wait to see them.

StormX's ele (clicky on thumbnail):

Next up, Hailfall, Morag and Del!

Heh, these sketches are surprisingly fun to work on while waiting for people to set up for dungeon/DoA/etc area runs. Sometimes pencil and paper are just so wonderfully simple.

Congratulations, Del, Storm, Hailfall and Morag!
Very nice drawing of the elementalist, of course. I love his expression!

Sorry for the rather smudgy quality of these two scans. Wasn't able to run them through Photoshop to clear up some of the smudge. Clicky on thumbnails to see bigger versions!

Rydia's elementalist:

I hope you like it!

Hailfall's necro:

I loooove the idea of a minion cat. That was what made your character so interesting - imagining her with a little zombie kitten.

Nice drawings, I like how much detail you put in the armour.

Thanks for all the comments! :3

@Tommy's: I've always had a hard time drawing hands. But it's the same with hands as with everything else - you get better at it the more you do them. I find what worked for me was to draw stick figure-type hands if I wasn't sure how to draw it, and then flesh them out little by little for the final lineart.

Drelias Melaku's commission, of a non-GW character:

Took aaaages to colour, but I think I leveled up at background skills. If not, at least got heaps of exp.

Almost done with frostkisses' commission as well, should have that up by the end of the week hopefully.

That's a really cool picture. I really like the background details. For some reason it really reminds me of morrowind and oblivion! It might be those glowing mushrooms.

Just curious but how long did it take?
